Guiding our Children’s future

Our Mission

We believe that all children are capable, competent and curious learners with the desire to learn new things.  It is our duty as educators and parents to provide the opportunities for learning to happen.  Each child possesses strengths and weaknesses and a unique style of learning.  It is our job to discover that style and help the child master all basic skills.  We believe when a child feels safe and has a sense of belonging, learning will be enhanced.  We will lend support and help children acquire tools for developing self- regulation, self- motivation and self- esteem which are all essential for future success.

Curriculum

Our program is designed for the whole child.  90% of a child’s brain development happens by the age of 5.  It is important to create as many brain neuron connections before this age, so we have developed a curriculum which does this very thing. The basis of our program follows the pedagogy of “How Does Learning Happen” developed by the Ministry of Education in Ontario, Canada. A child learns and retains information better when they are engaged in what they are learning, so we plan our cognitive, physical, social, and emotional activities with this in mind.  Our teachers are both qualified and or exclusively trained to incorporate a Canadian curriculum.  Our curriculum is aimed at giving children critical thinking skills as well as basic skills of math, literacy, science, music, and art.  We will do our best to have children fully prepared to enter primary school.  This however depends on their age when they join our program.  Our reading, math and science curriculum is based on concrete stress free learning which is fun yet highly educational and effective.  Our children will be prepared for both local and international curriculum.
